Contracts: offer, sign, get paid
Locked industry boilerplate; only the commercial terms move.
- Offer: from a booking, availability slot or opportunity, propose the deal — fee or door split, date, parties. The wording is locked industry boilerplate for your country/state; only the money terms are negotiable.
- Counter or sign: the other side accepts, or counters with different money terms. Every version is kept.
- Play the gig: the venue marks it complete, the pot divides by the contract (writers off the top by setlist, then performers), and payouts fire automatically.
Open any contract to see who gets what, when it's due, and the payout status of every share. Disagree after the fact? File a dispute — the frozen signed wording is the evidence.
