Fees & VAT: how DigMusiK makes its money
10% + VAT on tickets, £1 on exchange, free everything else.
DigMusiK is a ticketing and payment-collection agent — we collect on everyone's behalf and pass the money on, minus a fee:
- Tickets: 10% platform fee on the face value, plus 20% VAT on that fee. The fan pays it on top — a £20 ticket costs the fan £22.40, and £20 flows to the deal pot.
- Exchange resale: a flat £1 fee (83p + 17p VAT) on top of face value. Sellers always get exactly face value back.
- Tips, memberships, contracts: no platform cut at all. 100% of a tip reaches the act.
- Pro Intelligence: £99/month subscription for the industry data tier.
VAT is charged because DigMusiK Ltd is the disclosed agent on the sale; it goes to HMRC, not to us. Every receipt breaks down face, fee and VAT line by line.
